The Montgomery County Fairgrounds were created in 1949 with the construction of 12 outbuildings to house the Montgomery County Agricultural Fair, a community event for 4-H members to showcase their prize livestock and agricultural projects. Today, The Montgomery County Fairgrounds has 42 buildings and the facilities are rented year round to businesses and community organizations for shows and special events.
